48 min: Advanced Firefly Practice
In this 48 minute advanced practice, we contemplate the symbolism of the firefly as we build towards a big arm balance posture called Tittibhasana (which, yes, translates to firefly!). It’s a fast, strong, and super fun practice. Full body work: arm balance, standing balance, inversions, flexibility, core, all the goodies! We start with a mini Pranayama session and I leave you at the end to enjoy Savasana on your own. As always in my advanced practices, I don’t break down as much alignment, as I’m expecting more seasoned practitioners have the basics down and know how to listen to their body’s signals. This class was a real pleasure, and is a little gift for one of our strong members, Kia, as she just had her birthday!
